Gypsy is a mixed-breed cuddle bug. More information below.
Weight: 30+ pounds
House-Trained: Yes; crate trained
Adoption Fee: $100
Gypsy is about 2-3 years old and as sweet as can be. She was rescued from a rural area in Oklahoma. We were contacted by the finder who said she was found with a puppy and young dog. Gypsy as many strays was heart worm positive, extremely skinny and because she was so skinny we didn't even know she was pregnant until she gave birth to one of her pups on the way to spay ok. Well all pups and the other two have been adopted. Along with a strong heart worm positive she had a shattered foot. Due to her pregnancy we were limited at the time at what the vets said we could do. Well her heartworms are being treated and her foot as healed, and she can put some weight on it, but will never be able to use it 100 percent, but vets do not feel it should be amputated. She is crate trained. She loves to lay in the sun and be loved on. She has a low activity level. Requires a privacy fence. Our adoption fee is $100. We have an application process that can start by filling out an application on www.route66petrescue.org. We do home visits, vet references, and meet and greets with other animals. We are at Petsmart at Tulsa Hills every Saturday from 11-4pm.
